It can literally be anything: gaming, technology, gyming, exercising, beauty tips, video making…
The list is endless & is totally up to your interest and what moves you.
Remember the golden rule of content writing is to provide value through your content.
So, choose a topic in which you can add value to people’s life.

Fiverr and Upwork are one of the most popular freelancing gig communities.
From where you can get clients all over the world and you don’t even have to run after clients.
You will need to create your profile on both these platforms, share your best work and if you start a blog give a link to that as well.
See, this is where starting a blog comes very handy, because when you are super new to these platforms.
People usually don’t buy gigs from new sellers because they are not sure about their work.
But by giving a link to your blog, you can showcase your writing skills to them.
Also, when you are just starting on these platforms keep your pricing very competitive once you start to get orders and good reviews gradually increase your prices.
Publish Content on LinkedIn
Sharing your best content consistently over LinkedIn can land you many projects.
Because LinkedIn is not like other social media platforms where people come to kill time.
Rather it is used by both employees and employers.
So, if you churn out great content consistently for a good period of time you will eventually get noticed by people.
There are many people on LinkedIn who get a lot of freelancing gigs & job offers because of the work they put on this platform.
Trust me, if you can put good content on LinkedIn for 4-6 months, you will start to see its magic.
Cold pitching is all about reaching out to businesses/people to work for them.
This method is a bit tough from the rest of the 2 because you will need to be creative to reach out and tell people how you can help them.
But this method will get you better gigs and help you make more money than any other method.
You will need to find business from your Niche (Topic in which you write) and find their email or any other contact information and show them how you can help them get more customers or brand awareness through content.
Your success rate at the beginning will be very less, but with time you will also learn the art of convincing people.
